The Billiard Movers
Service & Repair
What To Expect :
Pictured to the left is a cross section of what a typical pool table looks like. There are many different types but this one gives you a good underdstanding of what your table looks like on the indside.
First we remove the rails and disassemble them.
Next we remove all the staples holding the felt to the slate.
Then we remove the felt and any remaining staples they may have been left in the bed of the table.
Now it's time to remove all the wax or compound that fills the slate screws holes.
Once that is done we break down the slate into it's three pieces. ( there are one piece slates also )
Now it's time to load the table in the van and take to it's new home..
Once at it's new home we will get input from you on where you would like to set it up,working with where you want it we will give you the best possible play area.
Next we bring in the slate and reassemble the bed leveling the table then the slate.
Once that is done we seal all seams and screw holes with 100% Beeswax. Other guys will often use a putty compound that can crack and pop a seam easier that the wax.
Once that is done we insure the playing surface is free of debris and re-stretch your old felt. ( If you would like to change the color our your felt this is a good time to do it.)
Last we reassemble the pockets and rails then reinstall them on the table.
